Sportiest Company
This recognition is more than just a trophy. It’s a celebration of the daily efforts our colleagues make to bring energy, movement, and wellbeing into the workplace. Whether it’s joining a sports challenge, organising group activities, or simply choosing the stairs over the lift, every step counts.
“We try to keep things fun and accessible,” says Korneel Huyghebaert, HR Manager. “From walking meetings to a ping pong tournament with a rotating trophy, or hopping on the office bike to grab lunch – we encourage everything that gets people moving. One of my favourite examples is a colleague who was a long-time smoker, but got inspired by his colleagues and now stopped smoking, and runs and cycles to work. He’s even in the running to become our champion planker!”
The most beautiful thing is the sense of connection that sport creates.
Hannelore Dejonghe - Communication Manager
" We have a colleague who’s stationed on a remote site and started jogging there on Tuesdays and Thursdays, just because he knows his teammates in Ostend are doing the same. That kind of shared energy, even at a distance, is priceless." Hannelore Dejonghe.
