Axpo has won a public tender from Flemish energy agency veb (Vlaams Energiebedrijf nv) to conclude its first joint virtual Power Purchase Agreement (vPPA) in Belgium’s public sector, and Elicio is proud to power it.

From 2027 to 2036, six Flemish public organisations spanning education, healthcare, infrastructure, and public transport will draw on around 45.5 GWh of Belgian onshore wind energy a year. All supplied by Elicio and backed by guarantees of origin.

For the organisations, it means a decade of price certainty and a clear route to their decarbonisation goals. For Elicio, it's proof that Belgian wind energy can power more than homes and businesses. It can power public life too.
